COVID-19 MEASURES
We are continuously following government advice and guidelines so this will also be updated frequently.
TRACK AND TRACE NHS is set up at every venue.
The organiser has completed numerous courses relating to covid-19 and the health and safety of their events including a recent covid risk assessment course for mass gatherings course relating to much larger events.
Every market/event is held at large scale show ground venues to maximise the opportunity to avoid crowding and encourage 2 metre social distancing not 1 metre plus so that we ensure we take the extra steps to reduce all risks.
EVERY PERSON ENTERING THE SITE MUST USE SANITISER ON ARRIVAL.( unless sensitive and wish to use your own)
Aisles are wide and where possible we will have one way systems.
Queues are marked out at food outlets and every trader and catering company will also have provided us with a cover secure risk assessment to be inspected in advance of each market.
The staff employed by each traders/exhibitor will be trained by their employers in all safety measures and in turn the employers also do employee measures to ensure their safety when working alongside each other.
Every trader has a space between each stallholder.
.Seating areas are provided for the public and all allow space to socially distance between them and additional cleaning and inspections are done all day and evening.
SANITISER IS PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE MARKET VIA BOTH STANDS AND AT REGULAR POINTS.
Face masks are advised where possible and must be worn indoors if the market is inside as well.
Subject to current government guidelines please follow them when meeting others at the market so within the legal requirements on the date attending.
VISITORS WITH ANY SYMPTOMS OR IF HAVE BEEN ASKED TO SELF ISOLATE ARE ASKED TO NOT ATTEND PLEASE.
Toilets are available and cleaned frequently with sanitiser available alongside them to use before entering.
Children under 16 must be accompanied at all times to ensure social distancing measures are followed.
Our team of volunteers and security officers are trained and briefed on social distancing and good hygiene and will monitor areas dispersing groups if it affects the safety and enjoyment of others.
We aim to make the markets a safe environment with little anxiety caused if you are nervous in public places as we will go the extra mile to ensure our measures are in place.
All measures are available in view at the venues.
THIS WILL BE UPDATED IN LINE WITH GOVERNMENT ADVICE FREQUENTLY AND WE HAVE A PROFESSIONAL RISK ASSESSMENT OFFICER APPOINTED TO ASSIST US.
